Every country recognizes promoting the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in the society. The Constitution of India recognizes this as a fundamental right and has enacted laws to help them participate in all walks of life equally and effectively.

Vijaya Health Care Trust distributed more than 100 ration kits to blind families occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Common people including the blind have been deeply affected by the pandemic and the consecutive lockdowns with their sources of income being depleted.
